Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled for promotion to the post of Clerk under physically handicapped quota and as per the reply filed by the respondents, details of 7 employees has been mentioned as per seniority, who are eligible for promotion to the post of Clerk under the reserved category of physically handicapped and the name of the petitioner is at serial No.7 in the seniority. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the respondents be directed to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion as per seniority position of the petitioner by granting him reservation under the reserved category of physically handicapped.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that as and when the claim of the petitioner is ready for consideration keeping in view the vacancy which will arise for the post in question, the claim will be HARSHA RANI 2024.03.06 17:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-2722-2020 2024:PHHC:027377 considered as per the seniority of the petitioner and if found entitled for promotion under reservation at the relevant time, appropriate relief will be given to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may kindly be disposed of as such. 4.
