(ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal of case titled as 'State Vs. Swamit Swataranand and others', arising out of FIR No. 18 dated 13.02.2014 registered under Sections 193, 194, 379, 452, 148, 149, 120-B, 506 IPC at Police Station Bullowal, pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hoshiarpur, as the proceedings before the trial have been stayed by this Court in quashing petition bearing No. CRM-M-1976-2016, vide order dated 24.02.2016. Pursuant to the order dated 04.02.2020 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, report from the trial Court vide letter No. 112 dated 30.03.2020 duly forwarded by the learned District and RISHU KATARIA 2022.08.18 10:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-4871-2020 -2Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur, vide Endst. No. 6503 dated 21.03.2020, has been received, wherein it has specifically been mentioned that in view of directions issued by this Court vide order dated 07.02.2022 passed in CRM-M-5314-2020, the trial shall be concluded within time fixed by this Court i.e. within one year.

More so, learned counsel for the State submits that the trial is at the fag end as out of total 21 prosecution witnesses, 17 have already been examined and now the case is fixed for 30.08.2022, for recording the statements of remaining prosecution witnesses and the trial is likely to be concluded very soon.

In view of the above and keeping in view the averments made in the report of the trial Court, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of, as such.
