Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct fair and impartial inquiry by looking into representations dated 07.09.2018 and 21.01.2022, Annexures P-2 and P-4, respectively and for addition of offence under Section 406 Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short "IPC") in FIR No.95 dated 20.06.2018 registered under Sections 498-A, 323, 506, 34 IPC, at Police Station Sadar Fazilka, District Fazilka (Annexure P-1). Counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the complaint having been given by the petitioner against her husband and in-laws regarding misappropriation of dowry articles, offence under Section 406 SAVITA KADIAN 2022.02.11 18:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-5821 of 2022 {2} IPC, has not been added and even dowry articles have not been recovered from them. He submits that the petitioner had moved representations before the authorities, but no action has been taken thereon. He has categoric instructions to state that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the concerned official respondent to examine the same. Request made by counsel for the petitioner is just and fair. Without examining the allegations levelled in the petition or in the representations, at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, District Fazilka-respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 21.01.2022 (Annexure P-4) and thereafter, to take appropriate steps as warranted, in accordance with law.

A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation, Annexure P-4 be sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, District Fazilkarespondent No.2 to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
