(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing FIR No. 676 dated 18.12.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Sector-5, Panchkula and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom. Upon notice, reply dated 09.01.2020/15.01.2020, by way of affidavit of Ms. Noopur Bishnoi, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, on behalf of respondent No. 1, has been filed. As per the said reply, after completion of investigation, the police has prepared the cancellation report on 15.07.2019.

Learned counsel for the State submits that in case, the aforesaid cancellation report has not been presented before the Area Magistrate/trial Court, the same shall be filed within a period 04 weeks from today.

In view of the above, no further action is required to be taken in the present petition and the same stands disposed of, accordingly.
