Counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that petitioner-Nitu is just 15 years and 10 months of age and left the house as her parents i.e. respondents No.4 and 5 are compelling her for marriage whereas petitioner is not interested in any such marriage at tender age of 16 years. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner(s) further submits that now she has been given shelter by her friend-Chaman, who is aged about 18 years. That parents and other family members of the petitioner are extending threats to cause harm to her and in this regard representation dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-1) was given to the police authorities but they failed to take any action in this regard.

Counsel for the petitioner(s) further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to consider and decide her representation dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-1), in accordance with law.

Counsel for the petitioner(s) is agreed to the aforesaid proposal.

In light of the above and without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-1), in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 8.

However any observations made in this order will not be construed as an expression of opinion with regard to validity of any relationship between petitioner-Nitu and Chaman. In case, petitioner or chaman has committed any offence, law will take its own course.
