***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner seeks release of the currency notes, which had allegedly been accepted by the accused when a trap was laid to catch the accused red-handed while accepting bribe.

Learned State counsel has informed that the matter is still at the stage of investigation.

In view of the aforestated position, no case is made out for release of the currency notes on superdari.

The State is, however, directed to expedite the investigation, so that final report is submitted thereafter at the earliest. The instant petition stands disposed off.
