(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing FIR No. 453 dated 31.10.2009 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar City and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom being abuse of the process of law.

At the outset, learned counsel for the State, on instructions, submits that in the present case, all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and statement of accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. have also been recorded. Now, the next date before the trial Court is 19.01.2023, for defence and arguments and trial is likely to be concluded very soon. In view of the above, no further action is required to be taken in the instant case and the same stands disposed of, accordingly.
