(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner - Arshdeep Singh - in a case arising from FIR No.122 dated 02.10.2019 registered under Sections 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Longowal, District Sangrur.
Heard.
Considering heavy recovery of contraband i.e. 7000 intoxicant tablets (3000 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride 100mg labeled as Clovidol 100-SR and 4000 tablets of Alprazolam IP 0.5 mg labeled as Prozolam 0.5) from the petitioner, which falls under "commercial category", he does not deserve the concession of regular bail.
Dismissed.
