ARUN MONGA,J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking quashing of Calendra No.40 dated 24.01.2018 registered under Section 182 IPC at Police Station Division No.1 Commissionerate, Jalandhar along with subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned State counsel, at the very outset on instructions from SI Palwinder Singh, submits that challan was filed way back and investigation is thus complete. He further submits that not only trial has commenced, but out of six prosecution witnesses, one has already been examined. 3.

In view thereof, no ground for interference by this Court, at this stage, is made out.

Dismissed.

However, petitioner is at liberty to take his defence before learned trial Court.
