 The case of the prosecution is that on 01.07.2006, the appellant was found to be in possession of 10 Kgs of poppy husk. Pursuant thereto, vide order dated %&%'(%)) passed by the learned Judge, Special Court, Ferozepur, the appellant was convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 09 months and to pay a fine of Rs.2,000/- and in default thereof, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one month.
