These cases involve similar issues and therefore, are being disposed of together by this common order, for the sake of convenience the facts are derived from CWP-2322-2025.

Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to release the payment of arrears of revised pay w.e.f. 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2021 on account of revised pay in the light of Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2021 on 05.07.2021.

Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for disposal of the present case in view of the order passed in Parminder Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others, CWP-295-2025, on 15.01.2025, to which learned State counsel has no objection, the relevant paras whereof read thus:- "Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the HAMANT 2025.01.29 18:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-2322-2025 and CWP-2343-2025 respondents to release the payment of arrears of revised pay w.e.f. 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2021 on account of revised pay in the light of Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2021 on 05.07.2021.

2. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Sh. Manpreet, Singh, Senior Assistant, office of Finance Pension Policy and Coordination Branch, who is present in the Court, submits that the Cabinet is already seized of the matter and the decision shall be taken within a period of 3 months, which satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioners.
