(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.162 dated 19.06.2022 under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Gobindgarh Mandi, District Fatehgarh Sahib.

While issuing notice of motion on 29.01.2025, following submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner were recorded:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that allegedly the petitioner availed cash credit-KCC limit from the complainant-Bank by impersonating his brother. It has been contended that after the registration of the FIR in question, the matter stands settled between the complainant-Bank and the petitioner as One Time Settlement has been arrived at." 3.

Thereafter, vide order dated 05.03.2025, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 05.03.2025, the petitioner has joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. 5.

Status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Amloh, District Fatehgarh Sahib, has been filed in Court, which is taken on record subject to just exceptions. 6.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for his custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 05.03.2025 is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) BNSS.
