Learned counsel for the State has placed on record status report by way of affidavit of Rajesh Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Panipat along with the Death Certificate of the appellantHarbhagwan which has been annexed as R-2. The said documents are taken on record.

As per the Death Certificate (Annexure R-2) the appellantHarbhagwan s/o Shri Pokhar Dass has since expired on 04.11.2016. In view of the same, the learned counsel for the appellant submits that he would not press the instant appeal.

Appeal stands abated.
