Mr. A.A. Pathak, Addl.A.G, Punjab *** Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) In the present petition, petitioner is seeking direction to respondents to extend his parole for a period of 8 weeks, as he is not medically fit.

On notice of the petition, learned State counsel has today submitted certificate dated 26.04.2022 given by AIIMS, Bathinda whereby Dr. Pankaj K. Sharma has observed that petitioner was admitted in the hospital from 23.02.2022 to 24.02.2022 as a case of infective synovitis hip right side with trochanteric bursitis and was operated on 23.02.2022 for hip arthrotomy and debridement. Now no active intervention apart from conservative treatment is to be done now. The petitioner may required intermittent follow up in the hospital to reassess/modify treatment. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The parole of the petitioner was extended by this Court on 08.04.2022 till today.
