The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for inter-alia issuance of a direction directing respondent No.3 (Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Amritsar-I) to decide the Execution Application which has been pending before him since 03.04.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that an order was passed by respondent No.3 directing respondent Nos.4 and 5 to pay Rs.10,000/- per month as maintenance to the petitioner under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Since no amount of maintenance was paid to the petitioner, the petitioner filed an Execution Application on 03.04.2019, which is pending till date. Notice of motion.
