Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the selection and appointment of respondents No.4 & 5 as Junior Coach (for Kabaddi), made in pursuance to advertisement No.3 of 2012 (P-1).

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the representation dated 05.09.2019 (P-9) is decided expeditiously.

Ms. Maloo Chahal, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner.
