CWP No. 2870 of 2020 and connected matters -2RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) This order shall dispose of the above five petitions as common question of facts are involved in all the petitions wherein petitioners are seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to allow them to work on the pst of Assistant Professors/Extension Lecturers till the time the said posts are not filled up through regular selected candidates. At the very outset, Mr. Kiran Pal Singh, AAG, Haryana, learned State counsel submits that petitioners are relying upon judgment dated 26.03.2019 passed in CWP No. 7965-2019 titled as Anil Kumar and others vs. State of Haryana and others. But against the said judgment dated 26.03.2019, LPA No. 1121-2019 is pending before this Court and the operation of the judgment dated 26.03.2019 has been stayed.
However, it has been admitted that petitioners are eligible Extension Lecturers and will not be replaced by another set of contractual employees, except by way of joining of regular selected candidates. In view of the above statement, at this stage no orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition and thus, the same stands disposed of.
