***** SUDHIR SINGH J. (ORAL) Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to decide representation dated 22.01.2024 (Annexure P-10) filed by the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of the grievance of petitioner, he has moved a representation dated 22.01.2024 (Annexure P-10), but the same has not been adverted to by the respondents till date.

On advance service of copy of petition, learned State counsel appears and opposes issuance of notice of motion. He submits that respondent No.4/competent authority shall take decision either way, on the pending representation dated 22.01.2024 (Annexure P-10) of the petitioner. Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek reply by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the relief sought for herein, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4/competent authority to consider representation dated 22.01.2024 (Annexure P-10) of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order.
