(Oral) Challenge in the present criminal appeal is to the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 16.08.2011 passed by the Court of Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur, whereby the appellants were convicted and sentenced as under:- Name of convict Under Section(s) Sentence Indra Bhandari 308 IPC RI for 3 Years 323/34 IPC RI for 6 months Yashpal Bhandari 308/34 IPC RI for 3 Years 323 IPC RI for 6 months The sentence shall run concurrently There is no representation on behalf of the appellants. Learned State counsel submits that as per her instructions, the appellants herein have died. She thus submits that the proceedings stand abated qua the appellants.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of as having been abated.
