(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take action in FIR No.69 dated 18.07.2019 (Annexure P-1) under Section 306 IPC registered at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur against respondent No.4 and to fairly investigate the matter. Learned State counsel has filed the reply dated 01.12.2022 on behalf of the State-respondent Nos.1 to 3, which is taken on record. The para No.8 of the report is reproduced as under:- "That it is submitted that the police conducted proper and fair investigation in the present case. The respondent No.4 has joined investigation in the present case as per direction of this Hon'ble Court. The challan of the present case has been prepared by the SHO, PS Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur and the same has been passed by the office of District Attorney, Hoshiarpur. The challan is being presented in the Court of Ld. Area Magistrate at Hoshiarpur. Therefore, the present petition is liable to be dismissed."

The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Surjit Singh submits that challan has been presented on 21.12.2022 and the charges have been framed on 22.02.2023.

In view of the above facts, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of as such.
