Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the impugned order dated 24.01.2020 (P-1); whereby petitioner was transferred from Panchayat Samiti, Fazilka to without any station being 6th transfer order from June 2017 to January 2020. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Jaswinder Singh, Legal Assistant, Department of Rural Development & Panchayat, has apprised the Court that the transfer order has been cancelled by the competent authority.

The above factual position has been duly acknowledged by learned counsel for the petitioner.
