(ORAL) The petitioners by filing the present writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India in the nature of certiorari and mandamus, challenge the election notice dated 20.01.2020 (Annexure P-2) which is proposed to be held for the Managing Committee of respondent No.5 for 09.02.2020.

Admittedly, the respondents have not been approached for the redressal of the grievances which is a necessary pre-requisite to seek a writ of mandamus. In the absence of any such grouse, having been raised before the concerned authorities, this Court is of the opinion that no ground for interferene is made out at the initial stage. Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioners does not press the present writ petition and prays for liberty to avail their alternative remedy under the statue before the competent authorities. Accordingly, present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with above said liberty.
