"1. Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks transfer of the investigation of FIR No.28 dated 21.06.2023, under Section 66-C of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, registered at P.S. Dharamgarh, District Sangrur, to some senior police official/officer. In addition, the petitioner also seeks issuance of directions upon the respondent(s) concerned, to ensure protection of her life and liberty, at the hands of the private respondents concerned.

2. This Court deems it appropriate to, at this stage, without issuing notice, direct the learned State counsel to file a status report, detailing therein, the stage of investigation, and, the fact whether the threat perception, as alleged by the petitioners, genuinely exists or the same is based upon mere assumptions and presumptions.
