(ORAL) The petitioner claims to be the registered owner of a residential house No.757, Sector 7, Urban Estate, Karnal, as per the deed of conveyance dated 18.9.2000 (Annexure P-2) executed by HUDA. The grievance is directed against the memo dated 03.01.2020 (Annexure P-5), issued by the Directorate of Enforcement, RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2021.02.26 10:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-4227-2021 (O&M) requesting Estate Officer, HUDA, Karnal, for providing registered sale deed of the aforesaid property in view of the pending investigation against Sh.Rajiv Gupta, recorded in the memo to be the owner of the said property. The said Rajiv Gupta happens to be none else than the son of the petitioner facing investigation under the the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
Since the information sought and the request made is in pursuance to the investigations, we are not inclined to invoke the writ jurisdiction as no cause of action has accrued to the petitioner till this stage. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present writ petition to enable his client to file a fresh one with better particulars.
