(Oral) As per the copy of the birth certificate (Annexure P-2) issued by Additional District Registrar, Birth and Death-cum-District Health Officer, Kaithal, the date of birth of alleged detenue-Paramjeet is 2.11.2004. The counsel appearing on behalf of both the parties are ad idem that aforesaid Paramjeet has already attained the age of majority. ( 2 ) CRWP-6477-2022 Vide order date 1.8.2022, this Court gave direction that aforesaid Paramjeet be lodged in Nari Niketan, Karnal and to be produced on 11.11.2022.

Today it has been brought to the notice of this Court that said Paramjeet was already released from Nari Niketan, Karnal on the basis of order dated 28.9.2022 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in CRWP-8857-2022 and the copy of the same is produced, which is placed on record.

Today aforesaid Paramjeet has appeared in the Court along with petitioner-Samunder, who is her father.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner made prayer that he be allowed to withdraw the present petition.

In view of the above, present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Paramjeet who has already attained the age of majority is at liberty to live with any person or with her parents as per her wish.
