Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside show cause notice dated 20.12.2023, Annexure P-3, under the Punjab Targeted Public Distribution System (Licensing and Control) Order, 2016.

Upon instructions, State counsel has placed on record a vernacular copy of order dated 20.03.2024, issued by respondent No.3, to submit that show cause notice, Annexure P-3, has been withdrawn and the Licence of the petitioner has been restored.

In view of the above development, prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous.
