(Oral) By way of filing the present writ petition, petitioners are challenging order dated 01.01.2021 (P-3) passed by respondent No. 3 vide which respondent No. 5 has been re-appointed as Administrator of Gram Panchayat Shukar Chak of which the petitioners are duly elected Panches in the General Elections held in December, 2018. Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Akshita Chauhan, A.A.G. Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Learned State counsel at the very outset submits that this issue came up for consideration before this Court in CWP No. 21279-2020 titled as Manpreet Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 10.12.2020. In this petition, learned counsel withdrew the petition with liberty to avail an appropriate remedy under Section 201 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 for redressal of the grievances. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not disputed the above said fact and wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail an appropriate remedy under Section 201 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 for redressal of the grievances.
