Through the instant petition, as cast under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks the issuance of a direction, upon the learned trial Court concerned to, within a stipulated period, conclude the trial of FIR No.259 dated 10.12.2022, under Sections 323, 341, 506, 148, 149 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Focal Point, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana.

The learned State counsel has, on instructions imparted to him by H.C. Swaran Singh, informed this Court that the Final Report in the FIR (supra) was presented on 08.09.2023, and now, the learned trial Court has fixed the matter for 08.05.2024 for framing of charges. 3.
In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to make the asked for direction (supra), inasmuch as, the trial is yet to commence and there is no inordinate delay, which may warrant intervention of this Court. Consequently, since the present petition is premature and does not warrant any intervention of this Court at this stage, the same is dismissed.
