Order dated 13.03.2023, passed by this Court, says as under: "Present:

Mr. Waqar Khurshid, Advocate for the petitioners.

*** Two brothers i.e. petitioner No. 1- Mustak Ahmed, aged 53 years and Petitioner No. 2- Abid, aged 34 years, sons of Sher Mohd have approached this Court with a prayer to seek protection of their lives and liberty, which is at stake at the hands of private respondents No. 4 and 5.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent No. 4-Sajida is married with petitioner No. 2-Abid and out of their said wedlock five children were born. Respondent No. 4 eloped with respondent No. 5Tahir in November 2021 and since then, both of them are staying together. Counsel also submits that on 12.01.2023 respondents No. 4 and 5 entered the house of the petitioners and started fighting there and also tried to commit suicide. By dialing at 112 police helpline number, police was called there and by that time respondents No. 5 succeeded in running away and police took away Sajida (respondent No. 4) with them. Though counsel for the petitioners is unable to explain that how petitioners are feeling apprehensive of their lives and liberty at the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5, yet State is directed to file status report in regard to the alleged apprehension at the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5.
