(ORAL) Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from expressing any opinion as regards the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur to look into the matter and to dispose of representation (Annexure P-4) expeditiously in accordance with law.

It is further directed that in case, there is any imminent threat to lives and liberty of the petitioners, then requisite steps be taken so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners. A copy of this order along with copy of representation (Annexure P-4) be sent to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur so as to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
