Present:
Mr. OP Shardha, Advocate For the petitioner.
Mr. Ajay Sharma, DAG Haryana.
* * * * Rohtas, respondent No.1 filed a petition against Parshottam Lal, petitioner herein under the Workman Compensation Act seeking compensation.
The Commissioner, Workman Compensation Act allowed the application and computed the compensation at Rs.1,01,925/-. Hence, this writ petition at the instance of Parshottam Lal.
The writ petition was admitted on August 05, 1997 and stay was declined. Mr. OP Shardha, Advocate, who filed this writ petition, submits that he wrote a number of letters to the petitioner including a registered letter, but got no response, which was received back undelivered.
Having regard to the fact that the stay had been declined, it is apparent that the amount must have been paid by the petitioner and thus, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. In view of the peculiar circumstances of this case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to get it revived by moving an appropriate application.
