(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in case, FIR No.128 dated 15.12.2018, registered under Sections 379-B, 356/34 IPC, Police Station Kotwali Nabha, District Nabha. According to the prosecution, in the evening of 14.12.2018, the petitioner as a pillion rider on Activa scooter along with his coaccused namely Harjit Singh snatched mobile and purse containing Rs.5000/- and Aadhar Card from the complainant, who is happened to be a lady.

CRM-M-4824 of 2019 --2-- she could not identify them. Subsequently, after viewing CCTV footage, she came to know that the petitioner and his co-accused were the persons, who snatched her purse etc. Petitioner has falsely been implicated on the basis of suspicion.

On the other hand, learned State counsel vehemently opposed grant of bail to the petitioner.

Considering the seriousness of allegations and the fact that such type of snatching, robberies etc. are increasing day by day, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Dismissed.
