 Present revision petition has been filed under Section 401 Cr.P.C. against the judgment and order dated 07.12.2018 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Chandigarh, vide which appeal filed against the judgment dated 19.03.2016 passed by Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Chandigarh, convicting and sentencing the petitioner to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 6 months and fine of Rs.500/5 under Section 279 IPC; rigorous imprisonment for 1 year along with fine of Rs.500/5 under Section 338 IPC and rigorous imprisonment for 1 year along with fine of Rs.2000/5 under Section 3045A IPC, has been dismissed.

At the outset, learned counsel for UT has apprised the Court that petitioner has already been released on 02.10.2019 from the custody, as the part of commemoration of 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi as per the orders of Govt. of India, Ministry of SANJAY GUPTA 2019.10.05 15:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

 

 Home Affairs, New Delhi, vide order letter No.v/17013/17/18/PR and thus, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also acknowledged the same and does not wish to press the present petition.
