(ORAL) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.0243 dated 25.09.2021, registered under Sections 307, 323, 324, 326, 148, 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added and Section 325 IPC deleted later on), at Police Station Kamboj, Amritsar Rural, Punjab. Vide order dated 14.02.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioners were granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join investigation.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that neither the petitioners have joined the investigation nor contacted him. Learned State counsel, on the instructions from ASI Surjit Singh, submits that the petitioners have not joined the investigation till date.

Perusal of the record would show that despite grant of interim protection, the petitioners have not bothered to join the AMAN JAIN 2022.05.12 18:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-6166-2022 (O&M) -2investigation. Thus, the petitioners cannot be allowed to avail the interim protection at the cost of violation of the conditions laid therein. Therefore, the petitioners are no longer entitled to the interim protection.
