RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.59 dated 20.04.2019, under Sections 363, 366-A IPC, registered at Police Station Mehta, District Amritsar, on the basis of compromise, dated 29.01.2020, Annexure P-2.
It is contended that both the petitioner and daughter of respondent No.2 are living together and prosecution of the petitioner would be nothing but an abuse of the process of the Court. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Ms.Ruchika Sabharwal, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondentState and at the outset submits that after investigation, the cancellation report in this case has been prepared and the same is likely to be filed shortly before the Court of competent jurisdiction.
In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to file the cancellation report prepared, as contended, before the Court of competent MEENU 2022.05.18 14:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-4896-2020 -2jurisdiction within a month from today.
However, petitioner is at liberty to pursue his remedy as available to him under the law.
