The instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent(s) to decide the stay application moved in ROR No.33 of 2024 titled as 'Jitender and others versus Fakir Chand and others', in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the revision petition No.ROR No.33 of 2024 is pending before the learned Financial Commissioner for the last almost two months. However, no effective order has been passed therein till date. It is further submitted that the next date in the said revision petition is 20.02.2025.

Ms. Upasna Dhawan, AAG, Haryana appears for the respondentState in pursuance of the advance copy of paper book having been supplied to her. She, on instructions from Mr. Kamal, Assistant to Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Haryana-respondent No.2, submits that the aforesaid stay application filed along with the revision petition would be considered and decided by him
(respondent No.2) on the date already fixed i.e. 20.02.2025 and in any case, not beyond a period of three weeks thereafter.

In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Financial Commissioner to decide the stay application filed along with the revision petition preferred by petitioner, on the date already fixed i.e. 20.02.2025 and in any case not beyond a period of three weeks thereafter. 6.
