JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (ORAL ) Petitioners claim that they have attained majority and married against the wishes of their family members. Apprehending threat to their life and liberty, they have filed the present petition for protection. Petitioners claim to have submitted a representation (Annexure P-6) dated 30.01.2020, in this regard to the Superintendent of Police, Panchkula.

Heard. Record perused.

The petitioners have placed on record the copies of Aadhar Cards (Annexures P-1 and P-2) as proof of their age. Affidavit of petitioner No.1 regarding conversion from Muslim to Hindu has also been placed on record. Copy of certificate as Annexure P4 and photographs as Annexure P-5, regarding performance of marriage, have also been placed on record.

This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Panchkula, to look into the representation Annexure P-6 dated 30.01.2020, and ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.

However, it is made clear that this order shall not be treated as stamp of the Court about the marriage of the parties and no opinion regarding the validity of the marriage has been expressed. February 04, 2020.
