The present petition has been filed challenging order dated 29.05.2019 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Armed Forces Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench in OA No.1286 of 2016 granting the benefit of arrears of disability pension w.e.f. 25.06.2014 to respondent No.1. 2.

The present writ petition was filed in the year 2025. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent No.1 had already died and he died before even the filing of the present petition. 4.

Keeping in view the fact that the order impugned is of the year 2019 and respondent No.1 had died on 11.04.2023 i.e. before filing the present petition, no writ petition against the said order is maintainable. Hence, on this ground alone, the present petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted for filing the writ petition against the legal heirs of respondent No.1 in case needed.
