Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to step up the basic pay of the petitioner from Rs.40,0400 per month to Rs. 41,600/- per month by making him at par with his juniors/batchmates. 2.

The stand taken in the written statement is that the pay of the 04 juniors is being reduced, however till date they are drawing the same pay. 3.

Since learned counsel for the petitioner, thus prays that he shall also be put in the same bracket as them, whether it be enhanced or lowered, learned counsel for the respondents-UOI submits that the issue shall be considered and decided within a period of 8 weeks.

The aforesaid satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5.

Disposed of accordingly.
