**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) This petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise was filed way back on 18.01.2019 i.e. almost 3 1⁄2 years ago by that time the trial would have proceeded further.

Given above, the present petition is dismissed. Liberty reserved to file a fresh compromise petition in case the parties are still interested to compromise the matter. It is clarified that dismissal of this petition shall not come in the way in case a fresh compromise petition is filed.
