Vide order dated 18.03.2026, this Court had asked the State to verify the factum of death of the appellant-Daljit Singh @ Golu. State has filed the custody certificate as well as the death certificate of the appellant-Daljit Singh @ Golu today in Court, which are taken on record. State counsel submits that they have verified that appellant-Daljit Singh @ Golu had already expired on 05.10.2019.

Given above, the present appeal stands disposed of having been abated. Bail bonds and surety bonds, if any, furnished stand discharged.
