Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant revised pay scale to petitioner after completion of 04 years of service as per Punjab government instructions issued from time to time.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, he would be satisfied in case the representation dated 07.12.2020 (P-10) is decided expeditiously.

CWP No.3319 of 2022 In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.2-Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Education, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 07.12.2020 (P-10) in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within a period of 06 (six) months from the receipt of certified copy of this order.
