MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 for conducting fair inquiry in FIR No. 146 dated 15.11.2019 under Sections 363, 366-A IPC registered at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, District Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that a direction be issued to the police authorities for taking a decision on the complaint/representation submitted by the petitioner. Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed by the petitioner, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is considered appropriate to dispose of this petition, with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar (respondent No.2) to look into the complaint/representation dated 27.12.2019 (Annexure P2) and take appropriate action as may be required.
