DEEPAK MANCHANDA, J.(ORAL) The petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 Constitution of India directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty, who are facing threats from respondents No.4 and 5, as they have married each other against their wishes. Learned counsel submits both the petitioners are major and have performed marriage on 1.2.2023 and a marriage certificate issued by Shri Aadi Ved Pathshalla, MDC, Sector 4, Panchkula is annexed as Annexure P-3. He further submits that apprehending threat from the private respondents, the petitioners have submitted representation to respondent No.2 through E-mail on 1.2.2023 (Annexure P-5), however, no action has been taken till date.
Learned counsel prays that keeping in view the threat perception, the petitioners would be satisfied if their representation dated 1.2.2023 (Annexure P-5) sent to respondent No.2 through E-mail be ordered to be decided expeditiously.
