(Oral) Counsel for the State has placed on record the order dated 05.04.2023, passed by the Deputy Inspector General (Prisons) Amritsar, wherein it is noticed that the petitioner has given the joining report on 09.08.2022 at Central Jail, Amritsar. Thereafter, he has deposited one month salary in lieu of submitting a resignation, which was accepted with immediate effect.
In view of the same, this contempt petition does not survive and the same is accordingly disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
