**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 09 dated 21.1.2020, registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, Police Station Barnala, District Barnala. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not made any entry in the register as the documents are with the Halqa Patwari and he has been falsely involved in the present case and he has nothing to do with the present case.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Harbir Sandhu, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State. He has opposed the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and pointed out that two other cases are pending against the petitioner.

CRM-M No. 7104 of 2021 -2Branch Manager, State Bank of India on the allegations that the petitioner being a Data Entry Operator, made a forged entry in the mortgage deed dated 26.8.2014. The inquiry was conducted by the Superintendent of Police and involvement of the petitioner was found taking active part in the crime. There are specific allegations against the petitioner that he, in connivance of other co-accused, played fraud with the complainant-bank. The allegations against the petitioner are serious in nature. Moreover, two other cases are pending against him.

No ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.

The petition is dismissed.
