(ORAL) Present revision petition has been filed seeking issuance of direction to the Court of Additional District Judge, Patiala to expedite the hearing of the application under Section 36(2) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 which is pending before Additional District Judge, Patiala in ARB/518/2024 titled Union of India Vs. Lahori Ram and others wherein the application for stay of Arbitral Award dated 04.05.2020 is pending.

As per the report of learned Additional District Judge, Patiala, application under Section 36(2) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been disposed of on 03.03.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid factual position, present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
