This is a petition for issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners from the private respondents arrayed in the petition. The petitioners had performed marriage against the wishes of their parents. Status report is filed by way of an affidavit of Mr. Rajneesh Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hq), Barara, District Amabala annexing statement of Ranjit Singh-father of petitioner No. 1. It has been stated that his family has no objection with the marriage of the petitioners.
