**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No. 166, dated 23.10.2019, under Section 498-A of IPC, registered at Police Station City Nawanshaher, District SBS Nagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and they have started living together. Learned counsel further submits that during the pendency of the instant petition and in view of the compromise effected between the parties, a petition for quashing of FIR in question on the basis of compromise, also stands filed before this Court. Further submits that pursuant to order dated 06th February, 2020, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined investigation. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Kalwinder Singh, states that the petitioner is no longer required for further interrogation and challan stands presented before the trial Court. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 06th February, 2020, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
