RITU BAHRI, J.(Oral) Petitioners are seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to consider their claim for promotion to the post of Lecturer/PGT (Math) from the date junior to the petitioner i.e respondent No. 3 has been promoted. Learned counsel for the petitioners has given detail at page No. 8 of the petition to show that petitioners are senior to respondent No. 3 but despite this fact petitioners were not considered for promotion w.e.f 18.01.1996. Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Kiran Pal Singh, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Without commenting upon merits of the case, this petition at this stage is being disposed of by giving direction to the respondent No. 1 to treat this petition as representation of the petitioners and consider their case for promotion as per seniority list and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
